Iggy Mallari is a San Francisco-based videographer.
Even as a kid, Iggy was drawn to storytelling through video, filming music videos, and home videos on his dad’s camcorder. In college, that passion grew as he became the videographer for his Filipino club, capturing cultural performances and community events. Through recap videos and marketing content, he discovered a knack for editing and motion graphics.
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Iggy began filming his home cooking and posting it to TikTok. The experience pushed his creativity and strengthened his love for video. While he’s since moved on from food content, videography remains his creative outlet.
After earning a degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Iggy moved to Sacramento to start his engineering career. Now based in San Francisco, he spends his downtime capturing street life, small businesses, and everyday city moments. He enjoys highlighting the subtle beauty in daily life and transforming the ordinary into something cinematic.
When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll probably find him running through Golden Gate Park, tending to his plants, or journaling over a hot coffee at a local cafe.
